Introduction

We are currently hard at work pushing the new envelope of mobile web applications with one code base on both Android and iPhone using social and identity clouds to mashup new and exciting consumer mobile applications. Combining social clouds such as Google, Brightkite, Friendfeed, and etc allows us to boot strap by avoiding costly server side infrastructure development. whereas one of the side benefits to using a web approach rather than full native when combined with using social clouds and etc is to avoid Mobile Operator lock-in and revenue share gouging that has so often put obstacles in the way of true mobile application growth.
